spent a youth to accept that strength means concience
had to drink a hell to find the keys of patience
gone too far to paths of loneliness,
chains that love to rape the white of innocence,
fire in lungs in deadends, the fear's smell's the same,
lack of luck and freefals, beast features multiple shape,
dozen times met loss,a fear older than the death,
once a scared embryo shadow, now i almost search faith
face the face of loss.
time to time,shape to shape,
heavier,sharper comes your cross,
keep thinking you've been there again.
and then we meet again, you, our fears and i,
halfs and wholes, like irony's first child,
battle one more time in a fateful, senseless circle,
far away from shelter, let's make and break a lifetime,
children of desire, parents of our fears,
mired in denial, sometimes we shed tears,
spent a lifetime to learn how to accept per deadly crime,
we are not afraid,we know it's not the first time,
face the face of loss.
time to time,shape to shape,
heavier,sharper comes your cross,
keep thinking you've been there again.
